We’ve a wonderful “sticky rice” scented ripe mini-tuo here! Fine 2012 ripened tea with just the right amount of rice scented herb, this one works well no matter how you brew it up. We’ve run it gong fu style and grandpa style, enjoying the well-balanced flavor and subtle rice aroma. It’s grain-free, so no worries about your low-carb lifestyle - just healthy ripe tea and herb.

Basic Brewing Instructions:

  • Ripe Pu'er may be given two 5-10 second rinses with the same temperature water as used for brewing. This primes the leaf and warms the pot.

  • 212˚ F water temperature.

  • Use 1 mini per 8 Oz. of filtered water. Some customers use 1 mini in 4 to 5 ozs and others use 1 mini in 16 ounces. Find your sweet spot.

  • Recommended first steeping of 30 seconds - 1 minute. Add 30 seconds to one minute for each subsequent infusion.

Tea brewing is meant to be a joyful exploration. There are no hard and fast rules. Experiment with the quantity of tea that you use, and steeping times. Enjoy discovering what your preferences are. They may change day to day.
