Breathe: A tea meditation.

Close your eyes, and slowly take a deep breath in. Feel the air fill your lungs, expanding your chest and abdomen. Hold it for a moment, feeling the sensation of fullness. Now, slowly release the breath, letting go of any tension or worries that you may be carrying.

Now, bring your attention to your senses. Feel the warmth of your mug in your hands, the smooth texture of the ceramic against your skin. Take a moment to appreciate the delicate scent of the tea wafting upwards.

As you lift the mug to your lips, notice the steam gently rising, blurring the vision of the outside world. Take a small sip, savoring the warmth and the flavor as it fills your mouth. Let the taste linger on your tongue, appreciating the subtle notes and the way it awakens your senses.

With each breath, feel yourself becoming more present. Release any thoughts that may arise, gently guiding your mind back to the present moment. Focus on the sensations of your body, the warmth of the mug, the taste of the tea, the sound of your breath.

As you continue to sip your tea, feel your worries and anxieties melt away. Imagine them dissolving with each exhalation, leaving you feeling calm and centered. Allow yourself to be completely present in this moment, free from the distractions of the past and future.

With each sip, feel yourself becoming more connected to your true self. Embrace the quiet and the stillness of this moment. Breathe deeply and fully, allowing your body to relax and your mind to find peace.

When you are ready, gently open your eyes. Carry the calmness and clarity of this meditation with you throughout the rest of your day. Remember, you can always find a moment of peace and stillness with a simple cup of tea and a few mindful breaths.

May your tea be a sanctuary, and may your breath be a guide to inner peace.
